Alessandra Corine Ambrósio

Born on April 11, 1981
Alessandra Corine Ambrósio is a Brazilian model. Her last name is spelled Ambrósio, but the diacritic mark is omitted in her modeling work.

"I have seven different jewels for my piercing. Every day I wear a different one according to the clothes I am wearing."

"Take care of yourself, be healthy, and always believe you can be successful in anything you truly want. "

"I never watch TV! I will be on a board or jumping out of a plane anytime! "

"Believe in yourself, listen to the photographers you work with, and try to be professional at all times. "

"80 percent of the time I'm on some beautiful island in a bikini. But I'm working and everybody else is on their honeymoon!"

- Alessandra Ambrosio

When Ambrosio was 12 years old, enrolled in modeling classes then, began modeling for Dilson Stein at age 15. Winning Brazil's Elite Model Look started her modeling career. Her first big modeling job was the cover of the Brazilian Elle magazine. Elite passed along some of her Polaroids to Guess which led her to do the Millennium GUESS? campaign along with her friend and fellow Brazilian Ana Beatriz Barros. She has since been in huge demand, working with big-name brands including Revlon, Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, Rolex, Oscar de la Renta, Gucci, Escada, Rocco Barocco, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren, as well as the famed Pirelli Calendar. As for fashion shows, she has walked the catwalks for designers such as Laura Biagiotti, Christian Lacroix, Byblos, Fendi, Issey Miyake, Kenzo, Christian Dior, Nicole Miller, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Vivienne Westwood, Oscar de la Renta, among others. She appeared in over 50 international magazine covers such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Ocean Drive, Vogue and the only model to appear on the cover of Glamour in the United States in 2006.

In 2004, Ambrosio launched her line of swimwear called Alessandra Ambrosio by Sais, a division of Rosa Chá. It sold 10,000 units in only its first month on the market.

Her best knowns collaboration is with American lingerie brand Victoria's Secret. She appeared in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for the first time in 2000, and continues to be a participant in the subsequent shows. Her most notable walk down the runway was in 2005 wearing lingerie made entirely out of candy. In 2004, she was selected as the first spokesmodel for Victoria's Secret PINK line. She is currently a contract 'Angel' and spokesmodel for Victoria's Secret. Her 'Angel' status has brought her to the public's attention being cited by the popular media as one of the world's sexiest women. She was chosen as one of People magazine's annual 100 Most Beautiful People in the World, in May 2007 along with fellow 'Angels' Ambrosio is among the world's top-earning models.

Ambrosio was the face for the UK company Next and starred in their first television campaign in 12 years. She is also signed to Storm Model Management in London.

Only three months after giving birth to her first child, Ambrosio appeared in the Victoria's Secret fashion show 2008.

Television appearances
Ambrosio has made several television appearances, notably a cameo as herself on HBO's Entourage along with Izabel Goulart; The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn; Late Night with Conan O’Brien; as guest judge on Project Runway season 2: Team Lingerie and The Tyra Banks Show where she was a guest twice. She appeared alongside TV personality, Regis Philbin in a worldwide commercial for Hummer H2. In 2006, she had a cameo on the box-office hit movie, Casino Royale appearing briefly as Tennis Girl #1.

Ambrosio guest-starred on How I Met Your Mother (episode: "The Yips") on November 26, 2007 with her fellow Victoria's Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Selita Ebanks, Marisa Miller, Miranda Kerr, and Heidi Klum.

What does it take to become a supermodel? It helps to have a statuesque figure, fabulously long legs, sultry bedroom eyes, and impeccable genes. In short, it helps to look exactly like Alessandra Ambrosio. This Brazilian bombshell has appeared in high-profile campaigns for GUESS, Revlon, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and of course, Victoria’s Secret.

And in 2008, Alessandra Ambrosio signed on to replace the departing Gisele Bundchen in the lingerie company’s popular Angels campaign.

If Gisele Bundchen is the only Brazilian supermodel's name you know, it's high time you checked out Alessandra Ambrosio. She's been described as "the future of modeling" by Ms. Tyra Banks herself. Although we don't always agree with Tyra's choices when our female companions force us to sit through episodes of America's Next Top Model, this time we thinks she's right. This long-legged goddess has received plenty of attention over the past two years after being ranked No. 36 and then No. 6 on AskMen.com's list of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women.

We love that Alessandra Ambrosia isn't just rail thin; she actually works for her body. “I work out with my Brazilian trainer, Leandro,” she explains. “He invented the Brazilian Butt Lift which is a mix of samba, capoeira and aerobics.” Here's to hoping the Brazilian Butt Lift makes its way to gyms across America very soon.

Ambrósio is currently one of Victoria's Secret Angels and the former face for the UK company Next.
Aside from modeling work, Ambrósio represents as the National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
Ambrosio loves surfing, seeing bands, drinking caipirinha and eating chocolates, which she admits to indulging in every day.[citation needed] She is very conscious of her figure and works out with her Brazilian trainer doing the Brazilian Butt Lift, which is a mix of samba, capoeira and aerobics.[citation needed]
When Ambrosio first came to New York, Gisele Bündchen lent her apartment for two weeks and Adriana Lima helped her translate English.

Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente Scherzinger (also known as Nicole Kea)

Born on June 29, 1978
Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente Scherzinger (also known as Nicole Kea) is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, model and occasional actress, best known as the lead singer for the Pussycat Dolls. She took the surname Scherzinger when she was adopted by her stepfather.

"Busta Rhymes is pretty phat, man. He is so much fun. He's so humble and he just makes you feel good. When you're around him, you feel magical."

"To me, a Pussycat Doll is fearless but also vulnerable. We're strong, but we like to play too."

"Starting to sing, and seeing like all the kids, and everybody in front of us, I was just like had this huge smile on my face. And the lights, and the people, and the energy, and the fans, and the people, "Nicole", and "Oh My Gosh Eden's Crush!" It was just like, uh, it was such a rush!"

"When I was young, I signed all of my yearbooks with, "Remember me when I am famous" I didn't know it would happen so fast. "

"Beauty has to start with the inside first. If you're happy with yourself and you take care of yourself, then you will shine on the outside."

- Nicole Scherzinger

Scherzinger appeared on the second album by Days of the New, released in 1999. She also recorded two songs with Barry Drake's F.O.B, which were released in 2001. In 2001, Scherzinger competed in the premiere season of The WB's television show Popstars, on which she earned a spot in the all-girl pop group Eden's Crush. She became one of the main vocalists for the group. The group's 2001 single "Get Over Yourself (Goodbye)" peaked at number one in sales and hit the top ten on Billboard Hot 100. They toured in support of both *NSync and Jessica Simpson. "Love This Way" was the second single chosen from the Popstars album; however, their record company, London-Sire Records, folded and the group eventually disbanded. Songwriter Kara DioGuardi contributed one track to the album, and later went on to co-write with Scherzinger for PCD, Doll Domination and Her Name Is Nicole.

In May 2003, Scherzinger joined the Pussycat Dolls burlesque troupe, who were being re-cast as recording artists. She had first seen them performing on The Late Show with David Letterman in November 2002, where Carmen Electra sang "Big Spender" from the Bob Fosse musical Sweet Charity. In 2006, Scherzinger said "It caught my eye because I’d played Velma Kelly in [Fosse's] Chicago in college." The Pussycat Dolls now have worldwide status as a popular singing group, with "Don't Cha", "Buttons", "Stickwitu" and "When I Grow Up" as Top 10 hits in the U.S.. The album PCD went double-platinum in 2006. Scherzinger sang nearly all lead vocals on the album, with Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton also contributing.

Scherzinger is the only group member with songwriting credits on PCD; she co-wrote "I Don't Need a Man" with Kara DioGuardi and producer Rich Harrison, and co-wrote "Buttons" with producer Sean Garrett. Another collaboration with DioGuardi, "Flirt", became a B-side to "Stickwitu" and a bonus track on PCD.

In 2006, Scherzinger toured with the Pussycat Dolls for their album promotion. It was revealed in 2006 that the Dolls are salaried employees of Interscope Records, giving the label a high level of control over the group's finances and business decisions.

Scherzinger appeared on the March 2008 cover of Men's Fitness magazine. She was called the lead or "Queen Doll". As with PCD, Scherzinger is the only group member to have songwriting credits on the second Dolls' album Doll Domination.

Along with the Pussycat Dolls, Scherzinger was asked by Ron Fair to record the English version of "Jai Ho", the hit song from the film Slumdog Millionaire. The new version titled "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)" was released to iTunes on February 23 2009, and elsewhere worldwide on February 24. A video accompanying the song has been shot at a Vienna train station and was released worldwide on March 13, 2009. It is believed that the new single will be performed several times in March.

Following the popularity of "Don't Cha" and the continuing rise of the Pussycat Dolls, Scherzinger recorded a series of duets or "guest appearances", predominantly with male vocalists. In 2005, she appeared on recordings by Shaggy, Vittorio Grigolo, and Will Smith. In 2006 she sang on Avant's single "Lie About Us" , and Diddy's hit "Come to Me" (which she also co-wrote). Other appearances are listed in her discography.

In 2006 she also made a "Bench Body" brand underwear commercial in the Philippines.

From 2006 until the present day Scherzinger has been working on her debut album tentatively titled Her Name Is Nicole. She recorded or wrote nearly 100 songs for the album which was supposed to be released in 2007[citation needed]. Production credits included will.i.am, Timbaland, Kara DioGuardi, Ne-Yo, and Pharrell Williams. Collaborators for the album included Macy Gray, Akon, Busta Rhymes, Timbaland and Sting. Recordings were varied including the pop song "Baby Love", the ballad "Just Say Yes" and the Hawaiian heritage-inspired "Puakenikeni". A description of the album and recording background can be found on Nicole's Facebook account.

Some of the songs from the proposed album have now been released by other artists including the Pussycat Dolls who recorded "Happily Never After", "Who's Gonna Love You" and "When I Grow Up" for Doll Domination and Christina Milian who is set to record "Punch You In Your Sleep" for her new album Elope

Solo single releases
Released between July and December 2007, singles from the proposed album were "Whatever U Like", "Baby Love", "Puakenikeni" and "Supervillain" (the latter two released via iTunes only). All of these singles were unsuccessful in the US, "Baby Love" had been moderately successful in Europe reaching top 20 in most countries. The album itself was pushed back several times throughout 2007 and 2008 and has now been shelved.

In April 2008, Scherzinger recorded a cover version of "Rio" by Duran Duran for an advertising campaign for Unilever's Caress brand of body wash. A commercial video was released, and the single was released via download only, after May 2008. In 2008, in support of Barack Obama, she was one of many musicians to contribute to a track by will.i.am called "Yes We Can". Also on September 5, 2008, Scherzinger joined an all-star cast to perform the charity song "Just Stand Up" on live TV. This is currently Scherzinger's last performance as a solo artist before embarking on the Pussycat Dolls new World Tour.

In October 2008, she promoted Clear Shampoo and Conditioner, succeeding Rain who also endorsed the same product. Both commercials were reportedly aired throughout Southeast Asia. In 2008, she also appeared with LeBron James in a sneaker commercial.

Scherzinger performed “America the Beautiful" at WWE WrestleMania XXV in Houston, TX at the Reliant Stadium on April 5, 2009.

In both her interviews and live performances, Nicole Scherzinger exudes self-confidence and a true sense of strength, all while emanating an irresistible aura of femininity. She has gone on record saying that her favorite dance move is the "booty shake," which she effortlessly pulls off at any given opportunity. Like Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears before her, Nicole Scherzinger is clearly not afraid to use her sexuality to accentuate her performances, which is why she landed at No. 70 on our 2007 Top 99 Most Desirable Women list and at No. 48 on the 2008 edition. She was ranked at number 22 on Maxim's Hot 100 in 2006 and 21 in 2007.

Born September 11, 1982
Shriya Saran is an Indian film actress. She began her career acting in music videos, while also attending an acting studio to follow her dream to act.

“I am never for vulgarity. Glamour, especially artistic and pleasant one, is fine.”

“I was born with a good figure. In fact, it was my mother who taught me how to stay fit and slim. I never eat sweets or ice screams to remain slim. I also do yoga every morning.”

“I had lots of crushes and
lots of infatuations. I liked lots of people. I have never been totally in love with any one. But those crushes and infatuations never matured into love. So, I never had a boy friend.”

“Once I entered the location, I just forget that I am Shriya. I only keep in mind the character that I am playing. I have to wear dresses that are suitable to the character. “

“I was a part of a dance team from our college. Dance is the only thing that actually takes me out of everything and relieves me.”

” I don’t believe in the point that women are stronger than men or men are stronger than women. Men and women should coexist and live together. Woman and man combine together to make a family.”

“I always believe in doing my job. I would have obviously been happy had those films become hits. But those things were beyond me. I can’t worry over things that I can’t control.”

“I want to dance with Hrithik Roshan and Madhuri Dixit in a Hindi film.”

“I was
very excited to work with him. It was like a dream come true to work Having worked with him, I can say he’s ultimate superstar and great human being. It was my fortune to get a screen space opposite him.” [About Rajini Kanth]

Shriya is the most happening actresses in Tamil and Telugu. She has acted with almost all the top most heroes in south India. To top it all she is the heroine of Rajanikanth in ‘Shivaji’, the biggest movie made in India.

Shriya's first opportunity to appear in front of the camera came whilst she studied her second year at the LSR College in Delhi, which she quit to participate for the shoot. Saran's first screen appearance was in the music video of Tirakthi Kyon Hawa by Reenu Nathan, which she was given a chance to perform in by her dance teacher who had recommended her. The video shot at Banaras gave her fame, prompting Ramoji Films to offer her the lead role of Neha in their film Ishtam starring and directed by newcomers. Saran despite wanting to only try one film eventually catapulted to fame. Before the release of Ishtam, Saran signed three mega-budget films; Santosham, Nuvve Nuvve and Tagore with the industry's top heroes, Nagarjuna, Tarun and Chiranjeevi respectively.

Shriya started her movie acting career with the Telugu film Ishtam (2001), produced by Usha Kiran Movies. This first film didn't fare too well at the box office, but she was noticed by many Telugu producers and directors. Soon she signed for Nagarjuna's Santosham (2002), which was a major hit and she didn't have to turn back since then. She was very lucky to get the most coveted chance to act opposite none other than Chiranjeevi at a very early point in her career. After the huge success of Tagore she became one of the top actresses of the south Indian film industry. Her later movies, such as Nuvve Nuvve and Bhageeratha, earned her many accolades. She had one of the biggest hits in her career with Chatrapati opposite Prabhas. Shriya is also endorses for large brands like LUX and Head&Shoulders.

She made her Tamil movie debut in Enakku 20 Unakku 18 (2003), cast along with Telugu actor Tarun, Trisha Krishnan. The film was an average hit at box-office, but it was more importantly a musical hit due to music composed by A. R. Rahman. She had plenty of glamorous roles lined up for her in Tamil, but instead continued with Tollywood for a year. She has made her comeback in Kollywood through the film Mazhai with Jayam Ravi. The movie did well at the box-office. She beat other top actresses for the much coveted role with Rajinikanth in Shankar's Sivaji: The Boss which is the most expensive Indian film till date after Dasavatharam.[citation needed] Most recently she appeared opposite Vijay in Azhagiya Tamil Magan, and currently filming with Vikram in Kanthaswamy.

In January 2008, a Hindu organisation based in Chennai lodged a police complaint against Saran, objecting to the outfit worn by her during the 175th day celebration of her film, Sivaji. In a complaint, the Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) alleged that Shriya's outfit had 'offended Hindu culture,'. The complaint was officially taken in by the police and is currently under investigation. Shriya is the fourth actor, after Kushboo Sundar, Shilpa Shetty and Reema Sen to face the fire of political parties and organisations in recent times. Shriya then tendered an unconditional apology for “wearing inappropriate skimpy attire”.
